Complete Lineup Revealed for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 2013
The complete lineup is out for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, October 4-6 in Golden Gate Park, with local roots rocker Chris Isaak, Los Lobos celebrating their 40 year anniversary and gypsy punk artist Gogol Bordello among the headliners.
Event organizers initially shared the first 41 confirmed acts for this year’s through a weekly series of music medley’s on SoundCloud. Other acts confirmed for this year’s free weekend concert in the park include a mix of classic HSB acts, like blues and R&B singer Bonnie Rait, singer-songwriter Boz Scaggs, jam band The String Cheese Incident and newer acts such as Father John Misty, The Devil Makes Three,and G. Love & Special Sauce. On Friday morning, MC Hammer is hosting a middle school program.
Attendees are allowed to bring their own picnics and drinks to the free festival. There will be more than 50 local Bay Area food and drink vendors on site. A daily schedule will be announced a few days before the festival begins and a mobile app will also be available, according to organizers.
