Sparkling Wine From an Airstream
Consider it a traveling demo, as a Veuve Clicquot Airstream, which has been making its way across the country this spring, is stopping in San Francisco on Tuesday, May 14.
With stops in the afternoon at the SoMa StrEat Food Park and in the evening at Epic Roasthouse and Waterbar, the mobile airstream will be sharing information on the product line and offering glasses of champagne for purchase as well, along with a tour of the airstream.
Veuve Clicquot kicked off its national tour in Florida in March and has been partnering with local restaurants and chefs to create unique local experiences around the company’s champagne.
The Veuve Clicquot Airstream will be parked at the SoMa StrEat Food Park (428 11th Street) from Noon-3:00pm and will be offering glasses of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label ($18) and bottles for $65. The airstream will also be part of a special happy hour event at Epic Roasthouse and Waterbar ( 369 The Embarcadero) from 6-7:30pm with glasses of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label at $19 and $85 by the bottle (Rosé version is $24/$130).
