Off the Grid: Picnic at the Presidio Returns

Off the Grid’s popular Picnic at the Presidio event, launched last year, returns on Sunday, April 21.

The event, with the beautiful backdrop of the Presidio, will once again feature 20 food vendors. Most of the vendors are actually well-established restaurants like Namu Gaji, Hog & Rocks, Nopalito and Wexler’s. But mobile vendors like Fins on the Hoof, El Porteno and The Creme Brulee Cart will also be dishing out some of their favorites. And there is a wide mix of cuisines, from sushi to sausages, Mexican to BBQ.

New this year is a produce market, featuring some of the Bay Area’s best farms and specialty purveyors. So along with enjoying the outdoor setting and great variety of dishes from vendors, attendees can also do a little shopping for the week.

A mobile cocktail service will once again be serving popular brunch cocktails like Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, with delivery service to picnic blankets in the park. The event is for all ages as games will be set up and a DJ will be in place as well.

Off the Grid: Picnic at the Presidio runs from 11:00am – 4:00pm on Sunday, April 21 at the Main Post Lawn in the Presidio.
