Live 105 announced the concert today, planned as a celebration to welcome Steve Masters to weekday mornings on the station (we’ll miss you Megan and Menace!).

Tickets for the April 1 show are $45 and go on sale at noon HERE. Phoenix plays a sold-out concert in Davis the following night before heading to Coachella.

The tweet from Live 105 Music Director Aaron Axelson announcing the concert: “Welcome Back Steve Masters Party with PHOENIX at the Indy on Monday night!!! This is NOT a zany April Fool’s radio prank!”

Phoenix is also one of the headliners at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival in May, and there’s a good chance the band will make a return appearance at Outside Lands this year. Phoenix hits two festival dates in Canada the week before Outside Lands, the only announced North American Dates between European tours in July and August.

The news follows several recent big announcements in San Francisco, including a surprise Skrillex show scheduled for tonight and a two-night stand with Prince at DNA Lounge in April.
