It’s a great day in this city of love, and whether you have a Valentine or not, there’s really no excuse to listen to sappy, sad, or just plain angsty tunes. To the rescue is some immaculately produced, sensuous pop from two indie-music veterans: Robin Hannibal, a Danish songwriter-producer, and Michael Milosh, a Canadian songwriter.

On March 5th, the duo willrelease their debut album, Woman. From what we’ve heard already, their tracks are a blend of Sade-like voices into simple and pretty melodies. With the recent rise of artists like Frank Ocean who opt for the less is more mentality, it seems like 2013 is shaping up to be a year for minimal yet emotive music. Check out this beautiful video of their single, “The Fall.”

We’re really excited to see what this duo will bring in 2013. And in more exciting news, they will be hitting up Bimbo’s 365 on April 3rd, 2013.
