Coachella 2013 Lineup Released

After months of rumors and an excruciating wait for some Coachella ticket holders and fans, the festival’s 2013 lineup was released today with the Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining the two-weekend festival.

Other highlights at the festival this year include Yeah Yeah Yeas, Lou Reed a Postal Service reunion and San Francisco favorites Bassnectar, Jello Biafra, Thee Oh Sees and Aesop Rock.

The full lineup:

With just over two months before the festival arrives in April, festival-goes will have to act quick to plan their trip to Indio and arrange accommodations. Similar high-profile festivals that follow Coachella this year, the New Orleans Jazz Festival and New York’s Governor’s Ball, were able to make lineup announcements well in advance of show time. It could be a tough call for Bay Area music fans who traditionally have the opportunity to see many of the acts on Coachella’s bill at local venues before and after the festival.

Coachella returns with its two-weekend format for the second year, starting April 12-14 and April 19-21. Tickets for the festival go on sale January 29 at 10am , and if the trend continues from previous years, they should sell out quickly.
