2013 Local History Lecture Series: David Gordon

The 2013 Local History Lecture Series closes with David Gordon in a presentation entitled "Dene & Hazel: The Denny-Watrous Story." David Gordon is a musician, vocalist, writer, and Carmel Bach Festival dramaturge, and will explore the fascinating lives of Carmel bohemians Dene Denny and Hazel Watrous, two women who founded the Carmel Bach Festival in the early part of the 1900's. Their home was a seedbed of culture and music that has borne prolific fruit throughout the decades and and continues to do so. Free and open to the public!
