Every November, men all around the world put down their razors to join in on Movember, a campaign to raise funds and awareness around men’s health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer.  Last year, Movember raised $126.3 million. In honor of these efforts, Comstock Saloon is hosting a party and facial hair competition on November 28.

The second annual Whiskey Waxing Mustache and Beard Competition will take place on Wednesday, November 28 at Comstock Saloon in North Beach. Comstock co-owners Jeff Hollinger and Jonny Raglin will be partnering with artist Chris Sollars to host the event. The competition will separate “beard” and “mustache” competitors who will be judged on form, style, and the ability to sip whiskey. Winners will receive whiskey-filled prizes.

RSVPs are required for admission and tickets will be $10 at the door, benefitting The Movember Effect. Email [email protected] by noon on the November 28 with your name and the number in your group.
