Wo Hing Gets Happy [Hour]
Wo Hing General Store—Charles Phan’s Chinese restaurant in the Mission—recently added a pretty awesome daily (weekends included!) happy hour to its menu.
The list is fairly expansive for a happy hour selection, and lasts long enough for 9-to-5ers to actually make it. Happy hour begins at 5:30pm and ends at 7:00pm every day. A list of $6 cocktails includes a martini, margarita, daiquiri and whiskey cocktail, or a simple “shot and a beer” combination. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of red, white, or sparkling vino as well.
Wo Hing’s happy hour food selection features several small plates including wontons, dumplings, eggrolls and even local squid. Small bites leave you hungry? Don’t worry, an updated dinner menu is available as well with several large options, such as steamed catfish, braised pork belly and Sea of Cortez scallops.
