Hayes Valley Izakaya spot Nojo is teaming up with Almanac Beer Co. for a unique pairing of beer and Japanese cuisine.
The Nojo Beer Dinner, to be held on Monday, September 24, will feature five courses prepared by Nojo chef Greg Dunmore, focusing on farm-to-table Japanese cuisine. Each course will be paired with a seasonal Almanac craft beer.

Warmed nama yuba (Tofu Skin), Momotaro Tomatoes, Shishito Peppers & Sunflower with California Fresh Hop Ale
Umeboshi Somen (Pickled Plum Infused Wheat Noodle), Uni, Shiso & Purple Daikon Sprouts with Winter Wit
Assorted Kushiage (Fried Skewers): Sardine, Pork Shoulder, Wagonwheel Cheese with Extra Pale Ale
Oxtail Nikujaga (Rustic Japanese Beef Stew) with Summer 2010 Vintage Blackberry Ale
Beer Sundae Almanac Honey Ginger Beer Ice Cream, Salted Beer Nuts & Miso Caramel Sauce with Honey Saison
