Aurea Launches Daily Happy Hour, Weekend Brunch

Aurea Restaurant at the Renaissance Stanford Court Hotel is now offering guests some added bonuses beyond its regular dining menu.

Chef Michael Koenig has rolled out a new happy hour menu, which was launched earlier this month. Available daily from 4:00-7:00 p.m., the “Chill on the Hill” menu features items such as bacon dusted popcorn, brussels sprout chips w/ lemon aioli and a trio of daily sliders (duck sausage, arugula, orange honey mustard/ground beef, spinach, romesco sauce/heirloom tomato, cheddar goat cheese, bacon, basil mayo). Items are $7 and under.

Of course happy hour also means drinks and Aurea is offering well cocktails for $6, Lagunitas on tap for $5 and a pair of wines for $6 each.

Brunch is being offered on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Chef Koenig’s menu features a large number of brunch classics (eggs benedict, omelette, poached eggs) and others with more of a unique touch from Koenig (Lemon soufflé pancakes, fried chicken and waffles, croque monsieur). There will also be a Bottomless Bloody Mary Bar for $25. Expect an updated menu with subtle changes from Koenig in October.
