The Return Of SF Street Food Festival

Are you ready for the year’s most exciting gathering of good grub? Because the SF Street Food Festival is just over a month away. The annual affair occurs a little earlier this time around on August 18th, stretching across 7 blocks from 20th to 26th street on Folsom Street. If you love tasty food and endless variety it really doesn’t get any better than this.

85 vendors, all owner-operated food businesses, will be on-hand from 11AM until 7PM preparing their most celebrated drinks and dishes. They range the gambit too; some of them never haven sold to the public while others own some of the most successful restaurants in the world.

The event also benefits La Cocina (2948 Folsom Street), SF’s innovative local business incubator. Passports will be available, ranging in price from $25-$150. They include tickets that are redeemable at any of the food stalls that day. A portion of those proceeds will help La Cocina continue their awesome mission in the Mission.

You can claim a discount on passports by purchasing them ahead of time. Click here for more information and check in with SF Station for updates on all of the tasty treats that you can expect to find on the streets of San Francisco on this very special Saturday.
