Off The Grid at Off The Cove

Off the Grid launches its first Off The Cove food truck event this evening, Wednesday, June 13, from 4 to 10 pm.

This public event is a partnership with the San Francisco Giants. OTC is not a weekly event like other OTG food truck gatherings, but a few additional collaborations are planned for upcoming Sunday Giants home games. Organizers hope that the event becomes an annual tradition for game fans.

This will be the first official food truck tailgate party in the city, with live music and a beer garden. The trucks will park on a nearby lot on Terry A. Francois Boulevard, behind AT&T Park. The party starts 3 hours prior to the Giants home game against the Houston Astros, scheduled at 7:15 pm, and continues until the end of the game.

It’s open to the public, and you are not required to buy tickets to the game. But in case you do, there’s a special event ticket package, that includes: early access from 4:30 to 7:15 pm with special food truck menu items for purchase, and an Off the Cove event t-shirt (black with orange graphics). A portion of the ticket package deal will benefit non profit incubator La Cocina.

The lineup of food trucks is as follows:

Alicia’s Tamales

An the Go

Creme Brulee truck

Curry Up Now

El Norteño

Hapa SF

Onigilly

Pacific Puffs

Phat Thai

Sam’s Chowdermobile

…plus a beer garden.

Go Giants!
