As many of you already know, summer is the season for camp outs! Whether you’ve made it out to Symbiosis, Raindance, or Lightning in a Bottle, there are still plenty more to go. One of note takes place next week in Groveland. Located on the edge of Yosemite National Park, the campout formerly known as Wake and Bake, Grooveland, has been growing since 2008. Run by the family of Steven Mosley, aka Steven Mostly, and hosted by Strangers & Acquaintances, this is a truly intimate affair with plenty of local talent and more.

This year, the event will be headlined by Culprit Recordings labelheads, Droog. Known for their rooftop parties at The Standard in Downtown LA, Droog have been shaping the sounds of deep house in LA akin to those of labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels, and Get Physical. Joining them will be label mate, Clovis Bouhier, and a bunch of Bay Area DJs including Dirtybird’s, Ardalan, Forward head, Adnan Sharif, and As You Like It’s, Mossmoss.
