Grizzly Bear Announce Fox Theater Date, New Album
They’re baaaaack. Those dapper lads from Brooklyn with the melt-your-mind harmonies, break-your-heart melodies and burst-your-ear orchestral builds have announced a new album coming out soon (title TBD), a world tour and an free listen to the first single “Sleeping Ute.”
The title may be up in the air but the release date is set, the track list is below and the tour dates are well on their way to selling out.Their Bay Area stop arrives on October 10 at Fox Theater. Tickets go on sale tomorro.
After the success of 
2009’s Veckatimest, where can a band like Grizzly Bear go aside from up? They have won our hearts with their sincerity and expanded our spatial capacities with their experimentation and innovation. I realize I just made Grizzly Bear sound like a car commercial – but I do feel that many parts of this band display the future of sound, whether immediately apparent or buried in noise. The first track off their new album “Sleeping Ute” (out September 18 on Warp) is below followed by a track list and their tour dates.
