While others may be grilling away and ingesting copious amounts of meat this weekend for Cinco de Mayo, Chef Ayinde Howell will be serving up delicious vegan fare at pop-up darling The Window in the SoMa.
Dubbed Wildflower, the menu will feature items such as seitan shwarma with mint tzatziki, crazy Jamaican sliders with jojos, and beer battered tempeh tacos. There’ll also be quinoa nachos (hm) and Mexican hot chocolate waffles (yes, please).
After Saturday’s festivities, there will be a four-course dinner will be served at a top secret location on Sunday.
