As part of non-profit Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale fundraiser, San Francisco-based food bloggers are uniting for the ultimate bake sale. This is an event you won’t want to miss.

In an effort to raise funds to help food-based organizations eradicate childhood hunger (did you you know that more than 16 million kids are going hungry right now?) , Bloggers without Borders has put together bake sales across the country. Last year BWOB raised $25,000 and this year they have upped the ante to $50,000.

The SF bake sale, headed by Anita Chu of Dessert First, takes place this weekend in Noe Valley and will feature treats from dozens of bloggers with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Share Our Strength.
