San Francisco’s The M Machine has announced the release of half of their debut album, Metropolis Pt. I, on Skrillex’s OWSLA label on April 24th. With signature tracks full of soaring synth-pop vocals progressing into raw heavy dubstep-influenced sounds, The M Machine attracts the support of Porter Robinson and Skrillex himself.
Bridiging the gap between man and machine made sounds, the trio garnered attention with tracks like “Promise Me A Rose Garden,” which starts out with sweet Feist-like vocals, and drops into hard electro dubstep sounds.
The debut album’s tracks will be featured as chapters in the story of the dystopian city of Metropolis. Check out their sounds in their Soundcloud below, and be sure to be on the lookout for this mysterious up and coming San Francisco group.
