Zero Zero Unveils Their Barrel Aged Negronis

On Thursday, March 29th, Zero Zero (826 Folsom Street) is hosting a tasting event to celebrate the launch of their newest batch of barrel aged Negronis. The recent trend of aging cocktails in oak barrels has really taken off as of late, and the popular SoMa eatery has been getting in on the action. Next week they are offering $5 drinks that have been aged for several months to contain just the proper amount of complexity for a smooth, sexy finish.

The event begins at 6PM and while you’re there be sure to enjoy some of the fabulous fare that has made Zero Zero such a hit. Their housemade sausage, fresh greens, and thin-crust pizzas are all sensational and worthy of the hype. The bartenders are also very talented and produce a bevy of curious cocktails to whet your whistle. If you’re looking to branch out beyond the barrel-aged drinks, make sure to try the Pimm’s Cup Punch and the Rosemary May. Both selections are refreshing spring time libations, certain to leave you with a nice buzz and a killer appetite to help you devour some high-end, gourmet pizza.
