Gallery Openings: Charmaine Olivia at The Shooting Gallery & More

This week’s hottest art openings are going down at Satellite66, The Shooting Gallery and Varnish Fine Art.

This Friday, artist, scientist and philosopher, Robert Long, will reveal his latest installation, You Must Not Blame Me If I Do Not Talk To Clouds, at Satellite. The installation features “Cloud Clocks” and explores several relationships, but most notably, that of fiction and reality.

Ex-SF Station Featured Local Artist, Charmaine Olivia, will present her first-ever SF  solo show, Ritual, this Saturday at The Shooting Gallery. The gallery will be transformed into a shrine of paintings and installations, all based on Olivia’s own creative mythology.

Another big opening on Saturday is Mind Spring, an exhibit featuring new works by famed rock artists, Chuck Sperry, Chris Shaw and Ron Donovan, at Varnish Fine Art. Known for their iconic posters and loud color schemes, this all-star line-up is not one to miss.
