This week’s top gallery events include a holiday group show at Kokoro, a benefit gala for GAFTA and a free screen printing party at Anthem Screen Printing.

Kokoro gallery’s annual holiday group show, Yule, opens this Thursday with a special appearance by Santa. Enjoy champagne, cookies and dancing, and maybe pick up some artwork, a t-shirt or  cards for holiday gifting.

Thursday also marks the 2nd Annual Galvanize GAFTA benefit gala at The Warfield. The evening will include a lovely dinner, art auction and live performances by ELEW, Garibaldi and Eclectic Method, benefiting GAFTA’s new residency in the historic Warfield building.

On Saturday, get crafty at the Holiday Screen Printing Party — free! — at Anthem Screen Printing.  Bring your own blank shirt and choose from 6 amazing holiday designs, or purchase a shirt for just $5. Craft-on, but remember to take a little break, snap your photo with Santa, and munch on some holiday treats.
