This week’s top theater openings include the Jewish Nutcracker at ODC and A Very Merry (improvised) Murder Mystery at BATS.

World Dance Fusion presents the 2nd annual Jewish Nutcracker: A Maccabee Celebration at ODC Theater. Through Falmenco, Chinese, Afro-Haitian and other dance genres, the performance celebrates “the true miracle of Hanukkah.” The Jewish Nutcracker opens this Thursday and runs through Sunday afternoon.

The BATS Improv holiday favorite, A Very Merry Murder Mystery, hits the stage once more this Saturday at Fort Mason. Step into 1930’s England, witness a holiday murder, and then watch as the eclectic crew uncovers clues and finds the killer.
