Tonight, Southern Exposure opens its doors–and break room mini-fridge–to anyone checking out Working Conditions, the Mission gallery’s latest exhibit and collaborative art project.

Southern Exposure’s Curatorial Committee invited artists Steven Barich, Elysa Lozano, Jennie Ottinger, Nathaniel Parsons, Carlos Ramirez, Zachary Royer Scholz, Charlene Tan, and Ethan Worden to work within the SoEx space for 2 months, in full view of the public as a sort of live art installation. Each artist is encouraged to interact with the shared space environment, and some even invite gallery visitors to participate in their individual projects.

The exhibit runs through January 7, 2012 with a closing reception on Friday, January 6 and happy hour events every Wednesday night from 6-9pm.
