Everyone’s got one great holiday story. And usually it involves getting drunk at the work Christmas party and professing your love to a co-worker.

This Wednesday night at 111 Minna, the bimonthly LitUp Writers reading series presents “Unwrapped & Regifted: Stories about the Holidays.” You’ll drink, you’ll wear ugly Christmas sweaters (with a chance at $25 cash), and you’ll listen to eight local writers relate their craziest holiday experiences — from Halloween to Hanukkah and everything in between.

Doors open at 7, reading starts at 7:30. The event itself is free but drinks cost extra — a small price to pay for your next great holiday memory.
