No Kid Hungry

One of the best things about the holiday season—aside from twinkly lights—is the focus on helping out the community. This Thursday, you have a chance to do just that, and eat some pretty incredible food. Join Share Our Strength for the No Kid Hungry Dinner at Jardinière for a multi-course seated dinner and cocktail reception to support the campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.

Share our Strength  helps to ensure that children in need have access to federal nutrition programs and that funds are invested in community organizations that fight hunger and teach families healthy eating habits. The No Kid Hungry Dinner has taken place in New York City, Los Angeles, and eight other cities so far this year.

The San Francisco dinner is this Thursday, November 3rd.  The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6pm, followed by a multi-course seated dinner at 7pm. Jardinière chef Traci Des Jardins will be joined by several guest chefs including Mary Sue Milliken (Border Grill, Las Vegas), Naomi Pomeroy (Beast, Portland), Floyd Cardoz (North End Grill, Battery Park City) and Suvir Saran (Devi, New York City).

Tickets are available for the cocktail hour and for the dinner event.

Consider this your delicious start to the season of giving.
