Halloween Costume Promotion at Chipotle

Chipotle’s annual Boorito costume promotion for Halloween is back again. The original promo required participants to dress like a burrito or any other menu item, to receive a free burrito on October 31st. The free grub woud entice a few people to walk into Chipotle restaurants wrapped up in aluminum foil.

This year the promo involves a costume contest, with a family farm theme. It’s part of a campaign to emphasize Chipotle’s efforts to support local farmers and sustainable agriculture. To participate, all you have to do is dress up in a farm related costume, think pumpkin, farmer, scarecrow, chicken or any farm animals, etc. Take a picture of yourself (in costume) in front of any Chipotle store and submit it online between October 31st and November 8th. The grand prize for the best costume gets $2,500, five runner-ups will receive $1,000, and 20 honorable mentions get a burrito party for 10. Not too shabby.

Have a safe, fun and happy Halloween!
