This week local restaurant Mission Chinese Food gained more notoriety with a TV appearance on The Martha Stewart Show.
It’s been a busy year for MCF, first with the launch of their first cookbook called, Mission Street Food: Recipes and Ideas from an Improbable Restaurant. Followed by constant media interviews, and speaking engagements to recount the history of their unique pop-up dining venture. It was only a few months ago when the entire MCF restaurant staff went on a semi-vacation by touring restaurants in China.
Chef Danny Bowien shared some of his acquired knowledge on national TV, with a demo on how to make his version of Biang Biang noodles. After this, expect to see longer waiting lines at the restaurant.
