Now That’s A Campaign Video!!
What could be better then pairing Brian Wilson with MC Hammer and Ed Lee? Wait what? Yep, it’s the latest soon to go viral creation from the guys with ASHKON.
You may remember the Giants-inspired cover of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” during last year’s World Series run. Well, it was the creation of Ashkon Davaran and collaborators Nate Houghteling and Kai Hasson.
Now, they’ve created a campaign video for San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee to MC Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit.” Among others, it features Hammer, Giants closer Brian Wilson, Twitter founder Biz Stone and former Mayor Willie Brown.
While it is a bit cheesy and over-the-top, it is sure to gather plenty of attention as the November election nears. And it also might take some of the heat off of Lee following a fairly significant election scandal that is still brewing.
But the question is, will it help him grab more votes on November 8?
