Literary Arts: Ozzy Osbourne, Hal Niedzviecki & Counterfeits

This week’s best lit events include an Ozzy signing, Niedzviecki talk and the release of Counterfeits.

This Saturday afternoon, catch the one, the only, the Ozzy at The Booksmith. The good doctor won’t be speaking, but will be sign copies of his latest written work, Trust Me: I’m Dr. Ozzy.

On Saturday night, kick off a double-whammy film + lit peep fest — first, head to the Roxie for a special screening of Peep Culture: the Documentary at The San Francisco Doc Fest 2011. The film is a follow-up documentary to Hal Niedzviecki‘s book, The Peep Diaries. Niedzviecki will hold a Q&A following the film, then, on Sunday, he will read from his new book, Look Down, This Is Where It Must Have Happened at City Lights.

On Tuesday, celebrate the launch of Counterfeits at the Make-out Room. The new collection of stories and poems was edited by Luc Sante and Rosanna Warren, and offers writing from authors around the world.
