Stream the new album On the Water from Baltimore’s Future Islands before it drops on October 11th.

Thanks to the good people at NPR, you can now listen to the band’s highly anticipated record in its entirety. This is their third LP and second on Thrill Jockey Records. The group, originally hailing from North Carolina, self-describe their sound as “post-wave”- a fusion of post-punk and new wave.

The album will come out next week and will be followed by a national tour which stops through San Francisco on November 15th at Bottom of the Hill with opening support from Ed Schrader’s Music Beat.
