Jack White’s First Solo Art Show in SF

Visual artist and creative pioneer Jack White will have his first solo show in California even though he’s been making paintings, prints and sculptures for over four decades.

“Neo Totems and Other Works of Art: a Continuum” will be shown at the Sargent Johnson Gallery located at the African American Art & Culture Complex. Curated by Nashormeh Lindo, the exhibit will display White’s self-described abstract art which serves as the foundation for his lasting influence and contribution to art and arts education.

The opening reception begins tomorrow, September 29th at 6pm and the exhibition wil run through January 12, 2012. Check the AAACC site for details.
