SF Zine Fest kicks off this weekend with two full days of small-press publishers from across the United States bringing their best zines, comics, art books and more to the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park.

This year’s annual celebration of creativity and diversity is set to be the largest yet.The free event is set to host over 150 publishing houses  including Portland’s Microcosm, AK Press and RE/Search Publications.  There will also be first-time publishers and self- publishers there to sell, trade and share the work of various writers, cartoonists, illustrators, exhibitors and more.

Don’t forget to check out the after-party on Saturday at Mission: Comic and Art for some drinks and more mingling.
