The Richmond SF blog reports that the effort kicked off in the neighborhood at George Peabody Elementary School. The plan is expected to be fully implemented by late next year.

New exhibit opens at Legion of Honor… On Saturday, an exhibit titled “The Mourners: Tomb Sculptures from the Court of Burgundy” will open at the Legion of Honor. The blog reports the exhibit features “37 devotional figures that recreate the mourners in a royal funeral procession.” The exhibit runs through the end of the year.

The event will showcase fair trade products from around the world, including vendors showcasing jewelry, textiles, handcrafts and accessories “reflecting the museum’s multicultural collections.” Admission to the event is free.
