Richmond Round-Up

The major news in the Richmond this past week was of course the Outside Lands Music Festival. The Richmond SF blog has a nice photo and video collection from all that was Outside Lands 2011.

In other Richmond news….

Rossi Pool to close until early October… The Richmond SF blog reports that the pool will be closed until October 4 for repairs and upgrades. The pool on Arguello is one of nine city pools that are closing for maintenance. From a blog reader, a worker said they are putting in a new roof and resurfacing the bottom of the pool, as well as installing a state-of-the-art UV water sanitation system.

Hot Sauce and Panko opens on Clement Street… Reports of a new eatery/food shop opening in the last few weeks in the Richmond. Hot Sauce and Panko features shelves of hot sauce (92 to be exact), along with a diverse menu featuring everything from Belgian waffles, sandwiches and chicken wings. Hot Sauce and Panko is located at 1545 Clement Street (closed on Tuesdays).

  1. Strange that S.F. Station has published the URL to the photos and videos from OL rather than also showing the other side of the coin from the residents in the Sunset/Richmond districts at http://richmondsfblog.com/2011/08/11/neighbors-guide-to-the-outside-lands-festival-in-golden-gate-park/#comments.
