Mark your calendar for the arrival of a sensational Broadway performance that’s already hit three continents.

Beginning in late September individual tickets will go on sale for the San Francisco production of FELA!, which was nominated for 11 Tony awards last year and won three awards awards already for Best Choreography, Best Costume and Best Sound Design.

The amazing production explores and honors the life of world revolutionary and Nigerian musician Fela Kuti. Known as an artistic visionary, Kuti was a leader on and off the stage, politicizing his music to condemn the military and the dreadful economic disparities of the time. The musical is directed and choreographed by Bill T. Jones with all of the music and lyrics written by Fela Kuti, of course. The show also boasts some heavy-hitters as production partners, including hip-hop staple Jay-Z as well as power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett.

The San Francisco production is scheduled for November 15th to December 11th.
