Post Office Closings

The USPS isn’t exactly rolling in the dough, and the financially suffering agency has decided to close over 3700 postal offices, including five locations in San Francisco. This means you’ll have to wait in even longer lines to send that package.

According to the Wall Street Journal, “The post offices it plans to close get the least amount of foot traffic and retail sales,” said agency spokeswoman Sue Brennan. And which post offices in SF were deemed those with the least amount of traffic?

BAYVIEW, 94124

CIVIC CNTR, P O BOX UNIT, 94102

FEDERAL BUILDING, 94102

MCLAREN STATION, 94134

VISITACION STATION, 94134

The most glaring closings are the two offices in the 94134 zip codes.
