The Audio Refuge Compilation will be released on July 19 and showcases SF collective Stronghold Sound’s Afro and Arab dub roots. The release party will be held tonight with Afrolicious at Elbo Room.

The first in a line of releases from Stronghold Sound contains songs from dozens of artists with backgrounds as diverse as Guinea and Trinidad. Each track brings a new fusion of musical styles, hand picked by the new label and creating excitement for what is to come.

The Wantanara Revolution group, Afrobeat drummers featured on the album, will be performing tonight at Elbo Room with Afrolicious for the album release party. Stream and download the album from Stronghold Sound’s Bandcamp.
