Known as the “king of booty,” Detroit’s DJ Assault has been heating up dancefloors since the early 80s. He will be playing a high energy ghetto-tech set tonight at Elbo Room along with SF’s Footwerks DJ crew.

Craig Diamonds aka DJ Assault is an electronic music legend who fuses techno and house beats with hip hop stylings to produce a fast-paced, loud, and catchy result, often with explicit lyrics. The genre he built, called ghetto-tech, has fueled his nearly 15 years of worldwide DJ shows notorious for lively parties with wild, sweaty dancing along with his charged tunes. Best known for his track “Ass & Titties,” he’s constantly producing new material and every show is unique. Check out his track “Touch the Ground” below.
