Bay to Breakers, Tiburon Wine Festival and Sam’s

Prepare yourself for the weekend. Sunday is Bay to Breakers, that raucous day of debauchery where over 100,000 San Franciscans parade through the middle of the city in costumes, running outfits or (eek!) nothing at all. ING dropped out as the race sponsor (weak) but Zazzle has signed up to keep this city tradition running for the 100th year. If one day of drinking is not enough for you, fear not, Saturday is also an option.

Head over the bay to Tiburon and class it up at the Tiburon Wine Festival. Started back in 1983 as a small fundraising event, it now sells out each year and brings in quite a bit of revenue. With over 60 wineries participating and a waterfront setting, spectators will have a hard time asking for a better Saturday. Although the event is sold out you can probably find a few tickets off of Craigslist. If you still cannot find any tickets, why not head over to Tiburon anyways and hit up Sam’s for some dockside cocktails.  The best part about Sam’s? The ferry from San Francisco drops you off a hop away from the sundeck.

Go ahead and make a really bad good decision.
