For your Monday morning dose — here’s the new video for Lykke Li’s “Sadness Is A Blessing,” a 60’s throwback tune off her latest Wounded Rhymes. One of those rhymes? “Sadness is a blessing/sadness is a curse/sadness is my boyfriend/oh sadness, I’m your girl.” OK, it’s a slant rhyme. But the super eerie — and majorly cinematic — feel throughout this video is amazing when held against the major key, uplifting chorus that backs such dreary lyrics.
