Event: Whiskies of the World Expo
Get your whiskey on this weekend at the Whiskies of the World Expo. After all, who doesn’t like a nice scotch on the rocks at the end of a long, dreary week. This year’s event which will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, on The San Francisco Belle, Hornblower Yacht (docked).
According to event organizers:
Now in its 12th year, the Whiskies of the World Expo & Artisanal Spirits Fest gathers the world’s most fascinating distilled spirits along with their makers and ambassadors to give its guests an opportunity to sample, learn and experience the art of whisky.
The expo will feature tastings and seminars from Master Distillers and Brand Ambassadors along with a full buffet dinner, mixology demonstrations, Celtic crafts, whisky pairings with chocolate, jerky, cheese, fish, and chutney, a live Pipe and Drum Concert and more.
General Admission tickets (VIP tickets are sold out), however, are bit pricey at $110, but it seems like you get a lot in return.
