Worldly producer Diplo, one half of Major Lazer and a collaborator with MIA and Santigold, remixed his flavor into this R&B jam from former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, featuring wordsmith Lil’ Wayne.

The original song is a spacey jam that you wouldn’t know contained any element of hip hop until about 3/4 of the way through when a syrupy-voiced Wayne drops in with simple rhymes. The remixed result is bouncy bass beat with hip-hop infused house that progresses into smooth dubstep as soon as Wayne drops in, bringing the hip hop vibe throughout the song. Diplo definitely flips the original into a dancefloor delight and it is clear why he is now working with artists such as Snoop Dogg and Kanye West in the studio, just to name a few.
