It’s rainy and cold, and the perfect day to snuggle up against the stacks of vinyl and CDs at Amoeba for a free in-store with the Twilight Singers. They arrive at the Haight Street location today at 6pm.

The Twilight Singers are in town to promote their fifth album, Dynamite Steps, released by Sup Pop on Tuesday. In addition to frontman Greg Dulli (formerly of the Afghan Whigs) and the regular TS cast, the album features contributions from Ani DiFranco, Joseph Arthur, Petra Haden, Nick McCabe (The Verve), and Mark Lanegan. Watch the video for the first single below, and look out for the Twilight Singers’ tour stop at The Fillmore on May 24th.
