Where are the top pick up spots in San Francisco?  Grocery stores- Check. Cocktail parties- Check. Muni (Strange, yes, but try it!)- Check. Time to add the San Francisco Public Library to the list as it hosts its first-ever “literary speed-dating” events this week in honor of Valentine’s Day, with an event for straight singles tonight.

A second event for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community will be held this Wednesday night. Adults in their 20s and 30s looking for love can participate in the four to five minute speed-dating windows to mix with other SF singles. Both events will offer light refreshments at 5:45 p.m. and speed-dating begins at 6 p.m.
