10 Recipes to Get You Laid (There’s a book!)

With shows like “The Pick Up Artist” and long-time bestsellers like “The Rules,” it was only a matter of time until a book came out helping men get a bit of action through the food industry.  We have all heard the adage, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.”  Well, apparently that wisdom also applies to women.

The latest book to hit the internet is titled, 10 Recipes to Get You Laid, proving that there is a ready and willing crowd of men with credit cards prepped to up their chances for a little bootie.  The author is listed as Dakota James but the SF rumor mill whispers that two eligible bachelors in the city are the real culprits.

The book proffers to be a visual aid filled to the brim with insider information.  It walks you through each stage of courtship, from that awkward dinner invite, to pretending like you know the difference between Sangiovese and Zinfandel, to guidance on cookware, mood setting, how you should look (the Grunge look is over), and even some after dinner tips.  The book also of course comes with ten recipes like chicken marsala, seared ahi tuna and shrimp scampi.  Those three are a step up from canned tomato sauce pasta and burned garlic bread.

Like every good cook book in my house, 10 Recipes to Get You Laid comes equipped with over 300 photos.  At $24.99 a pop, the cost of the book is about as much as a monthly subscription to Match.com.  Throw in the internet towel and show your lady(s) that you are a man who knows his way around the kitchen…she may think that knowledge applies to other rooms in your box of an SF apartment.
