The soon-to-be former SF City Supervisor everyone loves to hates, Chris Daly, is on his way to taking over what is now known as Buck’s Tavern on Market Street. Grubstreet got the scoop on a liquor license that is two seconds away from being approved.

The post goes on to say, that Daly “and his partner Teddy Stawser just secured a full liquor license for 1655 Market Street, so look for a Daly’s Dive sign to show up there pronto, and look for S.F.’s hardcore progressives to start gathering en masse and discussing issues over whiskey.” And look for his detractors to avoid the bar like the plague.
