In honor of the Mexican tradition of serving tamales at Christmas dinner, Mijita at the Ferry Building is taking special orders for the holidays. You have your choice of chicken and vegetarian and orders come with Traci Des Jardins’ special salsa verde. This is a great treat to spice up your holiday table and offer something uniquely San Francisco.

Order ahead of time and pickup at the Ferry Building. But order soon, because they will get booked up fast!

* Tamales are $3.00 each or a dozen for $32.00

* Order at least 48 hours in advance and pick up at the Mijita location ordered from (AT&T Park Mijita requires 72 hour advance notice)

* Side of salsa included in all tamale orders
