A Taste of Torino at Perbacco

With the holiday season in full swing, many San Francisco restaurants are getting into the spirit by offering special items on both their food and drink menus.

But Perbacco, located in the heart of the Financial District, is going a step further.

The Italian restaurant, which is well-known for its salumi plate, normally focuses its menu on the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria.

But for the holidays, inspired by owner Umberto Gibin and chef/owner Staffan Terje’s experience in the city of Torino, Italy, the restaurant is offering a four-course tasting menu for $45 per person.

The menu is dedicated to the flavors and cuisine of Torino and includes dishes such as Rotolo D’oca Con Marroni and Agnoletti al Brasato di Bramaterra.

The special tasting menu is offered each year around the holidays at Perbacco. This year, it is being offered for dinner from December 7-18.
