The 16th annual Monterey Cowboy Poetry and Music Festival is back for another year. Here, is where the traditions and life styles of the vaqueros blended with the traditions and lifestyles of the cowboys who worked there way west from Texas, Arizona and Nevada. This year we proudly celebrate the art, artists and artisans who draw their inspiration from this blending of cultures. Expressing in music, poetry and storytelling the values of the men and women who endured, persevered and overcame adversity to build the western traditions we celebrate today.
