This concert will explore the many ways classical and jazz music intersect and influence each other. The wide range of repertoire including pieces written by Bach, Brubeck, Chopin, Mozart, Brahms, Poulenc, Hersch and jazz improvisations will offer something inspiring to everyone who loves the piano. This year’s performers are faculty members Christian Bonvin, Randall Craig, Paula Dreyer, Grace Huenemann, Cheyenne John-Henderson, Evgenia Leshchishina, Juliet McComas, Jennifer Peringer, Betty Shaw, Erik Ian Walker, Betty Wong and Shirley Wong Frentzel, and guest artists Esther Chan and Annie Nalezny. The performance is produced by Matylda Rotkiewicz, CMC piano faculty.
